Hey guys,
I am writing to inquire about the supplement muira puama. It is reputed to have dramatic effects on restoring sexual function. Allegedly there have been studies done in Paris that support this. Personally, I am more than a little skeptical. However, I am interested to know if anyone has experience using this supplement in generous doses. From what I have read, subjects received around 1-1.5g of muira puama daily.
Most supplements containing this product usually do not have near this amount. Nevertheless, I am intersted to hear of any real world experiences. Am I correct in assuming that it is ineffective, or am I being premature with my assumption?

Just so happens, in my years of traveling around the world I crossed paths with both muirapauma and catuaba while on one of my forays to Brazil. This was twenty years ago when I was still in my forties (yeah I'm an old fart but at least I'm a very functional old fart hehehe). Nowadays I prefer this Brazilian cocktail to the more expensive and dangerous viagra. After a few weeks it recharges your batteries multiple times, partner and circumstances willing.
The best price purity I have found is a company up near Philly. They are very good on their deliveries. Check both herbs out (no I don't work for them. I'm a long time known quantity on the over 35 board although I don't post very often.)

Hey Dutchman
Hey Dutchman,
Thanks for your reply. I am interested to know a little more about your use of muira puama. For instance, can it be used continuosly for long periods and continue to be effective, or does one have to go on and off it? Essentially I am curious as to whether the body builds any kind of tolerance to it over the long term. Also, have you ever noticed any side effects from the use of this supplement?
Any information would be much appreciated.
