    when i flex my bicep??

    When i flex my bicep it doesn't go up too high...i have a decent size bicep, but when i bend my arm up before i flex, thats as big as it gets. Why is this?? I can feel myself flexing hard when i flex, but it doesn't go hardly higher at all.

    My friend's bicep goes like an inch or something higher when he flexes, and it makes it look a lot bigger, but I know my bicep is bigger. Does anybody know why this is happening??

    its just the shape of your muscle. do you have long arms? thats not uncommon in people with long arms. also, try preacher curls as they usually help to develop more of a peak shape.

    my arms are normal
    it seems like my muscle is longer. my friends muscle is shorter but goes up higher, and im alot stronger than him with my biceps

    anything else i can do besides concentration and preacher curls??
    do those peak the bicep the highest???

    For building peak Concentration Curls are best. Also, Standing Cable Curls work great for peak as well. Low(er) b/f doesn't hurt either, as you have less fat and therefore you can see the muscle peaking better.

    no it is mostly genetics but you can put on a little peak with preachers and concentrations.

    And When doing concentration curls and preacher curls, make each set last longer than 40 seconds... it is hard, but it helps to make your peak higher
