Designer Stackables Competition Time!
We're gonna run a little competition over a few boards, including this one for the Designer Stackables line. This is basically going to serve us as part market research, and partly just an excuse to give away some free product.
Let me first remind you all of a relevant part of the Designer Stackables Mission.
The Designer Stackables™ line is not intended to pave new earth and pioneer new breakthroughs like you have come to expect from Designer Supplements; rather, the line creates cost-effective choices for the tried and true that will complement and enhance the efficacy of other Designer Supplements's products. As with the Designer Supplements lineup, the growing Designer Stackables™ catalogue has (and will have) substantial scientific support behind the products and the inclusion of their ingredients.
The supplement market has an abundance of stimulating fat burners, appetite suppressants, health supplements and even choices of protein and meal-replacements. The Designer Stackables? label will introduce new, exciting products from all of these categories and more, including BASIC CUTS™, Suppress-It™ and a wealth of other fundamental but centrally important products. The beauty is that these products are elegantly designed, with all of the meat, and none of the fat, thereby offering you, the consumer, economical options to achieve your goals.
There are two "contests" if you can call them that. The first will win you a bottle of Basic Cuts for coming up with the most creative stack you can use Basic Cuts as part of. There have been some solid suggestions on here already so i am sure you will generate some good ideas for this. We'll chose the best two (a bottle of BC each).
The second will win you a bottle of VIGOR for coming up with the most creative new idea for a future Designer Stackables product (you can suggest as many as you like). We currently have a nitrix oxide-boosting product in the works and news pertaining RESIST to release very shortly. Again, like the first contest, we'll chose the best two giving away a bottle each.
Let the ideas begin.

A great Basic Cuts stack would be:
DS Basic Cuts: http://bodybuilding.com/store/design/basic.html
USPLabs cAMPHIBOLIC: http://bodybuilding.com/store/usp/camp.html
MAN Vaporize: http://bodybuilding.com/store/man/vap.html
Plus the essentials like a multi, fish oil, creatine (Xceed), and whey protein. Depending on how many pills you wanna choke down other things you could add to the mix are Melting Point and Lean Xtreme. Also for an anti-oxidant you could use Vigor.
So with that you have a thermogenic/stim with Basic Cuts, a thermogenic/non stim with cAMPHIBOLIC, and a sesamin/fish oil product with Vaporize. I could also see Vaporize and Melting Point being extremely synergistic together...
edit: Oh and also in the event that you guys love my idea, and I win (I doubt it), I could see how me being under the age of 18 could keep me from getting a prize, but you guys can just send it to my mommy.

The Mega Cuts stack: by JD
Obviously, basic cuts is #1
Ephedrine is my #2 add. on a cycle tho, 3 week pattern.
week 1 - only basic cuts
week 2 - basic cuts + 12.5mg Ephedrine HCL 2x a day
week 3 - Basic cuts + 25 mg Ephedrine HCL 2x a day
-tapering on and off the ephedrine as well-
(this may prove too intense for some, it would be a very individualized stack - no joke)
workout supplement timing
Preworkout :
-A protein shake (30g) with supercarb
- R-ala, ALCAR, the stimulant fat based thermo (basic cuts + ephedrine depending on the week - no ephedrine if doing intense cardio - always monitor heart rate when possible and if you feel uncomfrotable , slow down and take it easy)
- Designer Supps Xceed (or whatever creatine and/or NO you like)
- 3g Pcn + 6-mu
- 2 scoops purple wraath, 2 scoops glycergrow, 1/4 spoon bulk taurine
During workout:
- X scoops grape Xtend (depends on BW), 2 scoops purple wraath, 1 scoop substance WPI, 2 scoops glycergrow
Postworkout:
- finish during shake if not done yet
- bulk CEE
- 1 vigor, 1 NOxidant
- protein shake: 2scoops whey isolate (40-50g), 1/2 spoon bulk taurine, 2 scoops glycergrow, vita-C-ester & Waxy maize starch or vitargo for carbs
other supplements to utilize: just take as recommend/ie you normally would - whatever brands you prefer (some of my recommendations included)
multi vitamin (now adam)
r-ala (3x a day) + glucophase XR (1) at night
biotin with the normal r-ala
NAC
CLA + Sesamin + EFAs (fishoil mainly)
Green Tea extract (50% EGCG or higher)
Yerba mate tea (Search for info on its fat burning abilities)
cAMPIBOLIC
7OH (perhaps lean xtreme or bulk powder - whatever suits your pref)
Liver Tabs - easy protein on the go
glutamine peptides (if not megadose, 10g free form before bed -- up to individual)
Sleep aide when necassary - melatonin, USP R3M
proper protein & water consumption
PROPER DIET !
...jeffy likes.

Good input so far guys.
First of all, lets be clear about a few things.
1) You are welcome to choose and select other companies products. The Stackable line was designed to stack well with DS products, but we are curious as to some other real world uses. Certainly there are many other products it would stack well with.
2) We are NOT looking for product ideas. We have more than we can ever get done. On the other hand, we are curious if you have ever thought, "I would love it if there were a _______, that was both cheap and effective." This is how Basic Cuts came about, and is the genesis of the NO-type product. And we have several others in mind as well, but we thought it would be interesting to see what you all thought, as it may affect our timing on product of everyone always wanted a ________.
DS and ID Mag, 'nuff said. For now.

BC combos that work:
BC+Melting Point = Decreased lethargy, increased lipolysis
BC+Scorch V3 = Best dopaminergic combo I've tried
BC+GXR = High potency appetite suppression if used PWO
BC+FocusXT = A tad too much caffeine, but GREAT for overnight call
BC+Xceed = 30 days of amazing workouts for less than $50

A BCAA (free form) enhanced whey isolate would be ideal for my impending cut. Also, a calorie free pizza would be great too.

If you get that calorie free pizza going, Deser, I'll quit DS and be a free consultant for you.
Also, FWIW, the ideas so far have been cool, but remember.......DS provides CoAs and lab tests each of our ingredients. Making a 10+ part proprietary blend entails tons of lab tests and therefore lots of front end costs.
Withstand and Knockout are both very cool product names, however.

Not Queer
i always thought avant lab's H.E.A.T. works very well with basic cuts, more so than the heat+amp combo that is so highly recommended over on their forum.
heat stands for hordenine, evodiamine, alpha yohimbine, and tyramine which together make for a low stimulating fat loss supplement that focuses on appetite suppression, lipolytic and thermogenic pathway activation, maintenance of long term adipostatic machinery, and strong mood and energy support, with fewer nagative side effects (copied off the bottle).
basically, its meant to be a quality fat burner by nutrient partitioning and appetite suppression while keeping your mood up during your hypocaloric cycle.
imo, this combos so well with basic cuts because it provides all the technical backdrop to battle fatloss on all sides while basic cuts provides the effects that you can really feel. caffiene is a great stimulant commonly used, but has been known to cause iritability and jitteriness. the PEA in basic cuts helps to elevate mood, but absolutely needs to be coupled with a mao-b inhibitor such as hordinine. HEAT bring in more hordenine to maximize the PEA and put to good use all the other ingredients in a gentle, more synergetic manner than many more unsafe stacks out there.
as for the second contest, there are only so many basic goals than can be done. i would actually prefer not to have an all in one type of supplement because im bound to find some flaw in it and prefer to bring together various things i like together for a culminating effect. here are the basic goals i would like to see from affordable supps that you may want to consider:
-energy stimulant (got that one in basic cuts)
-antioxidant (vigor)
-mental focus without caffeine
-appetite suppresant
-appetite stimulator
-sleep aid
-dedicated diuretic (for situational use)
-muscle builder (doubtful to get a great one thats affordable)
-non stim fat burner (same)
-etc
ill add more as i come up with them.

Keto Maven
The Basic Cuts & Gains Stack
This stack is intended for fat reduction and lean mass gains/maintenance. The products all work very well together, if you would like for me to add a dosing schedule I can, but I think we can all see the benefit of such a stack.
Products Used:
DS Basic Cuts
DS Glucophase XR
DS Lean Xtreme
DS Xceed
DS Melting Point
Each product ties in here, lets take a look.
Basic Cuts releases fat from fat stores which Melting Point then burns up. The Lean Xtreme helps to control cortisol while assisting in muscle sparing. Glucophase then jumps in to help with insulin control but more importantly nutrient partitioning (sending more of the muscles). Xceed tops it all off to help increase strength, recovery, pumps, and overall mass.
Using this stack allow you to Basically Melt away your fat, allowing you to be at your Leanest. Only then can you exceed your own expectations and move into the next phase of bodybuilding.
Cheers,
SCT

Back to the basics
Stacks
All stacks would include a multi/whey (the usual suspects). Also blackstrap molasses (around 700mg of potassium per tbs as Aeter tells me) for the melting point stacks to help with cramps.
low-Budget/high stimulant:
Basic Cuts
HEAT
Vigor
GXR
high-budget low stimulant:
Basic Cuts
Sesamin
Melting Point
Vigor
GXR
Salmon oil
high-budget high stimulant:
Basic Cuts
HEAT
Sesamin
Melting Point
Dicana
Vigor
Alcar
GXR
Salmon oil
Extra low-budget low stimulant:
Basic Cuts
NOxidant
Bulk Green tea powder
Bulk nootropics
Vigor
New Stackable???
Adapt
How about a simple nootropic with alcar, bacopa, rhodiola, ginko, ala, etc... a basic nootropic/adaptogenic one? It would work well stacked with basic cuts to increase the thermogenic effects for cutting, help by adding it's adaptogenic properties for mass building, and it would also help for the academic portion of peoples lives when they are studying (a true stackable because it would work for all purposes).
Excell
Pre-workout Citruline/ornithine/arginine/norvaline/gluc-acetone etc...

new product: ALCAR, r-ala, and biotin all in one
ALCAR is to be taken with a form of ala, which depletes biotin stores so its kind of like an all in one, and will reduce the amnt of pills someone needs drastically

I like the idea of an adaptogen, but if we do a product for that, we'll go the whole nine yards and make it a DSupplements product.
