too short?
Ive done a few years myself, and goof pedophiles can't even survive in protective custody, where all the rats and rapists live. even PCs hate pedophiles. I personally know guys 5 feet tall who are as solid as anyone alse, and what about convicts in wheelchairs? Nobody would ever pick on anybody without a good reason. And does the judge think that if he were 7 feet tall 300 lbs that he'd have no problems? He'd still get shivved just as bad, maybe even worse. This guy should have been sent to solitary confinement for his sentance if theyre afraid for his safety.

How do inmates find out what others are charged of? Is it confidential or released upon cell assignments and such?

It seems like it would be more appropriate to dress him as a woman and tatoo 'bitch' on his forehead. Being dressed as a woman would deter other prisoners from hurting him because they all respect women and would never hurt one. The bitch tatoo would make him look tough and badass, like mike tyson's face tatoo.
My logic on that one is still better than this judges and my plan is a more fitting one for a child molester, who are, imho, the lowest of the low.

its always confidential in Canada, and its prison etiquette not to ask, but everyone ALWAYS shares details, and brings their paperwork out so that everybody knows they're solid. If someone hides in their cell all day, and just acts shady, someone will privately speak with them. If they're found out, and check off the range, word will get around and they'll be dealt with. usually if theyre a rapist theyll be in the news, and if not the guards will tell the cons, cuz nobody likes a rapist.

I am late to the thread but in response to Dr. T...
I watched a documentary about 6 years ago called Murder. A news crew was filming the return of a prisoner as he was escorted along the airport corridor towards the news crew. There was a guy with a brown coat and a ballcap talking on the phone facing the news crew and just when the two escorts passed him he turned 180 degrees and shot the prisoner right in the head with what appeared to be a ss 357 mag.
Every second filmed and the full piece shown on the documentary. I was STUNNED, I couldn't believe I saw this act of cold blooded murder right in front of me on TV. Then I became very ANGRY.
Then the documentary revealed that the shooter was the father of a 9 year old boy who was raped by his karate instructor. I was no longer ANGRY.

hahah same weird, i got 7 month in juvie and probation, which im on right now for some burglariees> my friends ratted me out after they got caugt, sucks man. but yeah i feel dumb as hell for what i did and now im a bodybuilding.
