Question Anyone know the world record for incline leg press?

Considering Pat Robertson's recent claims of being able to press 2000 lbs on an incline leg press, I'm curious as to what the world record is?

    http://www.cbn.com/communitypublic/l...xplanation.asp

I mean, I've seen Ronnie Coleman press 2300 lbs.
    http://youtube.com/watch?v=uSNvEpH2L...coleman%202300

Pat even claims his doctor can press 2700 lbs.!

So what's the world record on this? I Googled for a while, but couldn't find it.

My Dr. can leg press 2701.

I remember seeing a website on it before, I will dig around.

And more importantly, does any know what the world record is for most weight used in a Tricep Pushdown?

Gotta love powerlifters If it's not a sumo squat/dead or a belly press, it's a girls lift.

I'm sure pat robertsons leg press was a very small range of motion. Ronnies ROM was probably about 5 times as big.

Leg press is like tee-ball. Time to step up to little league cap'n.

He actually moved 2,000lbs? I would have thought they'd unhitch it and the sled would slide down and squash him flat.

For there to be a record there first has to be some standards in which to set it in. Therefore a claim to a world record leg press would not be unless it was done old school style I think there are some old odd lift records around.

theres ronnies 2300 leg press, id call that full ROM since his quads and chest will meet early due to the size of them. He could have obvioulsy done more since he did 8 reps.

I dont think thats as impressive as his 500lb front squats for easy reps though, or his deadlifts even if he does touch and go, anyone deadlifting 800 is impressive
    height: 5'6 1/2
    weight: 147.5 goal: 165 at 8-9%bf
Box squat maxes: mid box 315x10

    deadlift: 315 x 6 raw

Leg press is for girls who can't SQUAT?
I was the record maker in the car squat (thankyouverymuch) at the World's Strongest Woman, did 525 for REPS, (never tried 1RM then, wish I had)....AND I've done a 1625 leg press ON VIDEO.

At 196, I'm getting ready to do a 2000 lb leg press on video as well...just to prove I still "have it". (And to justify being back up to 196...not for long though). I still occasionally do 315 squats for reps...just to be nice to my knees.
    So there!
    =P

Girls (and any boys with an equivalent IQ) know that it takes several different types of movements to develop strength and physique to the ultimate potential. So stop doing your 45 lb curls in the squat rack & make room for the CHICKS.

    =)

Did this response make anyone else hot?

Seriously, though, the world record leg press was C***** D*****'s 3172 lb press done at the World Incline Leg Press Championship in Oklahoma. The title was revoked, however, when his tests came back and they found out about the 'roids. Hemorrhoids. It was later discoverd that C***** D***** wasn't even his real name.

It's in STONE. Doesn't matter if the 3,172lb. leg press was "revoked". What's done is DONE. UNTIL somebody can break that RECORD, then it still STANDS, no matter HOW you look at it. Doesn't matter if he was "roided" or not, he STILL was able to put up the 3,172lbs. leg press.

It's just so sad when a guy turns to drugs like that.

No doubt. There had better be nudity, cuz my wife is going to be pissed about the $19.95/mo and that "Make Room for the CHICKS" t-shirt I purchased.

On a more serious note, does anyone know the record for incline bench press?
