    Muscles Sore

    Is this a sign of cortisol being released and it feeding off my muscles? Should I take a shake of whey protein? I woke up today and my arms, legs all felt like ****, very sore.

    And obviously I'm on keto.

    Heh, I have no clue. The day before I had worked out with no whey, and I didn't go to sleep that night so I worked out at home for 10 minutes, just 1 rep. of 12 on each muscle group and drank two whey shakes to minimize the damage.

    Whey doesn't reduce significantly reduce DOMS, fish oil and Vit C is a better bet for that. Sometimes if you do a hard workout, even if it's only one set, you'll feel it for several days.

    I've found that if i don't have protein + carbs in my PWO shake that i get incredibly sore... I don't think it's the same for everyone but maybe your just not eating how you need to, to recover... play around with some different things PWO and see how you go.
