They say they contain complex carbs, would it be advised to eat a tin after a workout?

Baked beans, all beans, are a complex carb, thus, the fiber. But, of course, people tend to stay away from them, for obvious reasons. And the fact that they can be loaded with sugar, honey, maple syrup, etc. doesn't help. There is a way to make them not only more bbing-friendly but also more people-friendly.......open the can, dump them into a collander, and rinse all the bean "juice" off. By doing this, you eliminate all the sugar and whatnot and you also wash away the majority of the gas-producing liquid. You are left with a fantastic complex carb. Add them to some brown rice and not only do you have a big bowl of complex carbs but you also have a COMPLETE protein. Enjoy throughout the day as an alternative to oats or sweet potatoes. I, personally, prefer simple carbs pwo, however.
