1 tablespoon of dextrose equals about 10g of carbs (not necessarily 10g of WEIGHT, i'm not sure, but it IS ~10g carbs)
3 teaspoons in a tablespoon i believe

Make it easy on yourself. Get a kitchen scale and some measuring cups. (Digital scales are the best). Dextrose is a 1:1 type thing. 1 gram of dex=1 carb. Weigh it. You want 40 grams of carbs, meaure out 40 grams of weight in dex.

Considering you can pick one up for under $20 bucks, they are DAMN handy for all types of stuff, hehe. Ok, ok, I admit it, I'm actually a weigh my food junky, but for me, it just makes life all that much easier.Originally Posted by Suprcharg
