Where to buy chicken breasteses in bulk

if you know anyone in the restaurant buisiness, ask them to fix you up with their butcher. i get 10 pounds for a lil over 20 bucks, cause i've known the butcher that delivers to my restaurant for 9 years =D.

I get them at Costco as well...I get the tenderloins though not the whole breast...same thing just cut in smaller pieces. Thats just cos iM too lazy to defrost them so the tenderlonis being smaller pieces cook faster from frozen state. I pay about $12 bucks for the bag, i get 2-3 bags and that'll last me for the month. I think each bag is about 3-4lbs. The whole chicken breast bags are bigger, about 5lbs per bag and they cost around 15 bucks..
Like someone said, Costco is my best friend...I get everything there from chicken to beef to big tubs of cottage cheese, big boxes of oats, milk, PB, eggs, damn......and all cheaper and in bigger bulks than your local supermarket

I recommend a butcher also. If you buy in bulk most will give you a reduced price

when you guys buy these breasts in bulk, do u mean the ones that are just pre-frozen and boxed up?? cause i would like to start buying chicken in bulk, but i know the pre-frozen ones have a ton more sodium in them, compared to the fresh ones.

The costco's around here sell them 'fresh' or 'air-chilled'... though I think you can also get the boxed frozen kind. Costco rocks! I'm always surprised at the quality of their meats. Not quite as good as a butcher, but better than most grocery stores.

My local Sam's club has the breast tenderloins in a 4 lb bag for like $8-9 bucks. Just though em in a baking dish, YUM!!!

Yea but not as cheap as the chicken. The meat you get is waay better in quality IMO than at costco and sams club. Just get in tight with a butcher and you're good as gold ! =D

I get my chicken breasts at SAMs along with Cottage cheese, natty PB, oatmeal, and whole wheat pasta. Never pay attention on how much though. I get the rest of my stuff at Walmart.

Either Sam's or BJ's is good. I always buy the 10lb bags which are pretty well priced. I'm not sure of the exact price tho

every few weeks one of the local grocery stores will have fresh chicken breasts on sale for $2 or less per pound. yesterday i scored 16 lbs @ $1.88.
