Hey guys, just had a question on my mind about pre-workouts. Im thinking of ordering c4 5 servings cause its on promotion and Im curious as to what pre-workouts do. I dont plan to continue buying pre-workouts even if it gives me this godlike effect(which It wont), but its more to see what it does cause some people have gotten good results on them. So my question is do they raise your lifts? Mostly for the compound lifts like bench, squat, dead, are pre-workouts supposed to give you that pump and energy to do a heavier weight? those lifts I do heavy and low reps, around 6/4/2 and sometimes 3/2/1 when I feel like I can up the weight even more. Sorry for this wall of text :x

The only thing preworkouts are going to do is give you a significant energy boost that will enable you to perform your lifts possibly heavier with more reps. You do not need a preworkout but it does help give an extra boost when you're extremely tired but still want to maintain a gym routine.
