Liquid egg whites, how to prepare

Well I just bought a carton of liquid egg whites. I was wondering if it is safe to just drink it raw, will I die? Also, any cooking ideas?

I would at least scramble them if I were you. You probably wouldn't die if you ate them raw, but denaturing the egg protein is supposed to make it more biologically available to your body.

omg, they taste fine in almost anything. most commonly ill add about 4oz to a protien shake i make every day, but even still you could add them to any shake you make (milk shake or protien shake) and you can barely taste em. just be sure if using a blender to add it after blending everything else then adding the whites and doing it for another 15 seconds or so to avoid be extra foamy.

I even put this **** in my coffee if i wanna

Denaturing means the protein changes from its original form. This happens when it's heated.

I've used them in protein shakes many times. You could use protein powder, liquid egg whites, and heavy whipping cream. Throw in some ground oats if you're looking for more carbs.

Or just scramble them. I currently have 1 cup of them plus 1 whole egg every morning.

pasteurized means they are already heated to a certain temp. They are same to drink raw. Regular egg whites are not entirely safe as they could contain salmonella, but its unlikely and I dont usually worry about it anyway.

Pour into skillet, make an omlet or scramble them.
    Add salsa....enjoy.

Or eat raw, mix with a shake or in a recipie that calls for eggs.

    Egg whites

I haven't purchase a container yet but I will after work today. I'm imagining just liquid in the container. So if a recipe calls for 1 egg white, how much is that? Is there a tsp, tbsp or cup measurement for how much of the liquid egg white is equal to 1 egg white?

    Step 1: Open carton.

Step 2: Pour directly into toilet.

    Step 3: Flush.

Step 4: Buy real eggs instead.
