    Creatine Doses a day

    Hey guys, I'm a 232 pd male and have been using creatine for month and a half now i've been using Phospaghen Elite, 2 scoops which is 10.5 grams of creatine and 1 scoop on off days, Should i just take 5 grams on workout days and half a scoop which would be 2.5 grams on off days, just wondering cause i've been reading some articules that say 5 grams is all the body can handle , the rest would be pissed out ...     5g a day on/off days. Just take maybe 2.5 pre/post workout or that would be like 1 scoop pre/post with that stuff, and for the off days just take 1 scoop. You could get away with taking in more than 5g a day in my opinion. Man Phos****en Elite tastes good

    Yeah, the body can handle roughly about 5g a day. Now everyone's absoprtion rate is different, but I doubt you are really absorbing all 10g and you are, quite literally, pissing your money away. :-p I would just do like you said, one scoop for on days (split, half before and half after workouts) and a half scoop on rest days.     Ive been using the stuff lately cause Ive been getting it cheap which is nice. Considering its only creatine mono.... I take a scoop in the morning and a scoop preworkout. Off days I'll take only one serving in the morn. Im having success with that whole routine

    I agree aquanutz but since its only monohydrate, the liver is only allowing so much of the creatine to get to your muscles so loading up a bit allows for you to absorb the 5g max
