LISS cardio is Low Intensity Steady State. This is running about 65-75% of your max-hr for an extended period of time (45 minutes usually). For most people this means a slow jog or very fast walk.

I use a combination of LILD/LISS and HIIT cardio to acheive my goals

    LISS HITT Combo

I made a conscious effort to add this in my routine this week...I lost 11 pounds. So it seems to fit in with the "keep the body guessing" strategy. Cycling cardio routines between HITT one day LISS the next, the same with calories, and lifting.

You don't need to keep the body guessing. You will see far better results by establishing a fixed training schedule and constantly striving for improvements within that routine. Work on running farther, faster, or longer and lifting more weight each time you train. The only time you need to switch things up is when you get stuck in your routine and you stop seeing progress over a long period of time.

edit: Why did you bump a 5 year old thread?

This explains some stuff on how growth hormone basically doesn't have much effect on lypolysis for burning fat. It's not really a magical solution to change it up from high to low intensity. It seems to be more a matter of using my glycogen and glyserol stores in the body to get to the andipose fat tissue in the belly =)
