Pics from the Contra Costa BB Show - I placed 3rd.
Well here they are. I placed 3rd. It was a very tough class. There were 12 guys in my class, all of which looked good. I got first call outs and was very happy with that. I am very happy with my placing since the competition was so good.
Anyways, here are the pics. Sorry for the quality, my wife does not know how to time it right......

Thanks Flynn. Well I ate A TON yesterday, probably way more than I should have! Today it is back on the diet and cardio hard as I have another show in 3 weeks.

well done mike, It was close but I think a bit more conditioning and perhaps a bit more width on your shoulders and you'd be set to take an overall. It's not that you aren't wide... you definately are, but you are like myself in that we both have wide waists, so we need to bring up our lats/shoulders in order to make it look narrower. Great job though, a very very tough class.

Thanks Layne. I agree completely. I do have a wide waist and I will need bigger shoulders to compensate.

Nice work man - I would be proud of 3rd place.
That contest looked like the toughest I've seen on here. Every guy looked good. The 10th place guy probably looked great.

Still damn impressive. Contra is not small time. And to be in first call, and still place aginst some serious beef. The guy next to you in back DB looks about 5'5, just makes him look bigger.
But in three weeks you'll bring home gold!

Thanks everyone. I will definitely be hitting it hard again for the next few weeks. I have a show on June 3rd, which is a smaller show. Hopefully I will come in a tad leaner and dominate that one.
I kind of messed up after the show by eating too much!!LOL
I have gained almost 20lbs since Saturday! So I need to drop that ASAP!!
Oh well....it was fun eating all of that food though!!LOL

i'm gonna guess that the 2nd from the right guy won overall? he had some really impressive lats and chest, and his legs were a lot bigger than most.
good job man.
