I totally think your head can't be to small if you don't have hair on it. Like beetle juice the shrunkin head on a big body. I think your neck has something to do with it to maybe its just me though I love a big neck with a bald head. My hubby shaved his head because we both wanted to see what it would look like then I didn't like it so he grew it back. Please men if you are going bald shave it regardless no comb overs please!!!!

No, I "bitched" about getting a "haircut" because I don't know what my head looked like, since my hair is 6 ****ing inches long. You try seeing the shape of your skull under all that hair.

This just proves my point, anyway. Not everyone (me included) can pull off the bald look. The fact that I look at the shape of my head before I do such a thing shows its importance in the style. Vin Diesel can pull it off not because of his "strong" features, but because his skull has a shape that is aesthetically pleasing to the human eye. His chin is fairly weak and his nose is prominent, plus his skin is pale. But his skull has a "nice" shape.

I don't think so. I don't know many guys that can look good with no hair on their dome. Prove me wrong (women's input is appreciated).

Some men to me look better with age, obviously not too old though anything over 45 is just too old. And some times having no hair suites a guy.

I have to look better bald, because I look like **** WITH hair. My hair was thinning on top, leaving a big ass bald spot on the top of my head, and a little patch up front. So, about a year ago I started shaving my head bald, and I'll never go back.

Does color of skin affect this in any way? What about shape of skull?

Kind of weird because I thought round was a nice symmetrical shape? Or does it make the head look too big? Or maybe because it makes the face look wide? (Maybe that's why Asians don't look so good with shaved heads)

I think bald is fine....especially if you're LOSING your hair..just buzz it off, it's easier. I convinced my boyfriend to get his head shaved (not shiny bald but super super short) and he looked HOT! Although, he was hot before that so this made him more so. Yay for me!

Mainly preference, bro. No set answer. In most cases, the first thing people notice about bald guy is the shiny dome, and how his face looks, not the shape of it. Rarely does anyone see your head from profile, so unless your head is extremely flat on the back or extremely long that it looks like a giant peanut (real deformations, not perceived), then you should be fine. It's really about how it fits your face. If your skull is round or long, or just in the middle, it doesn't really matter. It just has to make the face look good. Some guys who look great with hair look like **** bald.

Bald's not a problem for me if the guy's otherwise fit and attractive. Bald with some facial hair is nice. I don't care for balding with long hair/ponytail. No combovers, please.

I recently started shaving my head, and I've been told that I pull it off well, that I have a good head for it, etc, etc, etc. I do like it better than anything else I've tried as well, so it's here to stay. I don't really know exactly what is meant by 'the right shape of head', but personally I think it has to do with not only the overall shape of ones head, but also facial features and maybe even body structure. I think it has to go with the overall appearance and attitude or personality of the person in question. I feel very comfortable with my shaven head, and that's something that I haven't quite felt before. It just feels/looks right for me, and I'm happy with it, and so are quite a few other people I know.
With all that said, I don't think I quite qualify as handsome or 'hot', but I think the shaved head helps me out a little.

This "nice shaped" head thing is not worth caring about. Unless you have a real misshapen head (look up the term craniosynostosis to know what a real misshapen head is).

There are many types of heads: round, long, square, etc. As far as which one women find attractive, it all depends on the woman. IN GENERAL, black people have long heads, asians have round heads, and whites have varying shapes. Of course there is exceptions, but most of the descriptions are accurate. It doesn't matter. It has to do with your face structure mostly. If you have a bulbous forehead, you won't look good with a shaved head. You need strong, masculine features like a strong brow, chin, and a long and straight nose. Bruce Willis and all those other guys who look good bald all have different shaped heads, but they all have those features in common. That's why SOME people think black guys look better with shaved heads, because in general they have strong brow bones and rarely have bulbous foreheads (dark skin looks better when exposed, too). Vin Diesel, Lex Luthor, Bruce Willis, have strong features and different shaped heads but they pull it off. I've seen guys with round, long, in-between heads look good AND bad with shaved heads. It has to do more with your face.

Cliffnotes: "Nice head shape" is pretty much meaningless if you don't have strong facial features, which are what really makes a man look good with a shaved head.

In my opinion hair looks much better. I shave my head but I think my best look was when I had my hair in and I could do stuff with it like pick it out, put it in waves, etc.
