Large Legs

My girlfriend is a sprinter with athletic legs(~22 inches) She has great abs so her bf% is quite low already. She wants to make her legs smaller. There is no fat on them to lose, only muscle. Is this possible? Any women been here or in a similiar situation?

if she is a sprinter, why in the world does she want LESS muscular legs?
has she decided to NO LONGER sprint?

was a sprinter i should have said...having larger legs has always bothered her for some reason, even though they look great on her. she is 5'9" so her legs do not look like stumps. they are long and lean, just a bit larger in the quads than she would like...glutes and hammies are near perfect

muscle mass goes away just like fat does, burning more cals than you take in.. i guess if i were in that situation i would do the reverse of some of the muscle preserving tips most people get for a couple of weeks. less protein, no postworkout whey, no direct quad training. if she wants to continue training glutes and hammies m aybe she could modify lunges and crunches so the quads are less involved

i think big quads are really sexy but those are a few things that could help her imho
