Just good old creatine monohydrate will work. Doesn't matter too much about the brand imo.

Definitely would recommend supplementing creatine while on a cut.

Platinum Creatine (unflavored) is what I am taking on my current cut.

Get creatine from a solid company, take 3-5 grams daily and you're good to go.

you can and should use creatine on a cut or bulk. 3-5 g per day , just go with either mono or hcl.

Creatine can be taken year round. No reason to stop taking. A simple creatine monohydrate works perfectly at 3-5g daily if your body handles it well without bloating. If your body bloats off monohydrate, then you'll want to look at another form of creatine.
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

I would start with a basic mono product. Platinum 100% Creatine at 5 grams a day is what I would go with.

OP, 3-5g of creatine mono is all you need and timing is irrelevant imo. I would look at brands such as:

    Blue Star
    Universal
    Allmax
    Cellucor

I highly recommended Blue Labs Nutraceuticals Power XD, I am not a fan of powder so these capsules are perfect for me. I picked them up based on reviews and glad I did

I'd go with a straight mono from a reputable company such as Universal or Optimum. 5g a day is all you need, no loading phase necessary.

As mentioned above, you can take Creatine year round, and you do not need to load the first 30 days.

    5g a day is sufficient.

Be aware that you may retain some water weight for a few days, if you haven't taken it before.

You can use any brand you like. Take a look at Champion Performance Creatine for a great deal on a quality powder. I use it every morning.

    Best of luck to you.

You can mix it in with your shake, your amino, you PWO, and whatever other supp you take, according to your own taste.

I either mix it with water, my shake, or my amino, every morning.

Sounds more likely that it was lactose intolerance or something else along those lines, rather than the combination of protein + creatine, which are fine to combine.

I have whey protein (gold standard) all the time and creatine (any) too but combining them always causes me stomach discomfort. there are also some theories out there about glutamine which occurs in protein naturally and creatine competing against each other. I wish I didn't get stomach problems cause I was seeing some better muscle volume combining them verses separate.

I never cut without creatine, just dont worry about the extra few pounds of water weight it wont make you look less lean. Creatine will mildly help maintain training performance during a cut as well as help preserve muscle mass.
