    do most people use supplements?

i used to think of supplements for only the serious bodybuilders, but it seems most people use at least something.

what is recommended for your garden variety 35yo female just wanting to get some definition and strength?

is creatine essential or only for intense workout people? i am still trying to even get my head around the need for post workout intake!!!???!!!

magicmatt i meant average, nothing special!

manders yes and no!!! i am currently a fat skinny or skinnyfat ie low weight but average body fat. so i want to gain mostly muscle in the weight and minimise weight. i already have added 2cm on my arms (they were like sticks and very depleted) but dont want to bulk up, more get some definition and endurance/strength
