good job man that is awesome. good luck. my team always decided to focus on fitness at the worst possible moments. like halfway through a season.
hopefully we'll make it to the finals next year. we were actually supposed to drop down to D3 this coming fall but our league did some restructuring and our club was given a second chance to make d2 more competitive. also because every time we drop down to D3 we romp and go to nationals. which is fun but i'd rather stay in D2 and have a shot at moving to D1. We actually have a coach now (our very own funny talker!) so we'll have something we've never had these past few seasons: a strategy.

Hey guys, I apologize. I have been writing a new workout and been putting about 60-70 hours a week into this new program I am creating. I will give more details later, but it's going to be enormous. I will answer your questions as I have time.
I need a favor from you guys though...
What are some cool things you would like to see me JUMP on or JUMP over? Just get creative...Something you think I haven't seen or thought of yet...
Thanks,

Played second grade today for eastwood. had a tight game agaisnt gordon, but we ended up on top which was good. also was my first time playing 40minute halves(the lower grades play 30min)
Hoping to get on to first grade of the bench in the next few weeks, which would be a nice challenge (1st grade is what the aussie super 14 players play when the super 14 finishes).
Think im going to have to do quite the bulk in the off season. feeling small at 107kg in the front row haha, hopefully i can put eventually put another 7-10kg of muscle on.( ' ' ' ) MISC RUGBY CREW ( ' ' ' )

ok back in high school (11th grade) I maxed out at 300 lbs on squat. but I still couldnt even rim, well barely. I was 5'6-5'7 150lbs. My senior year my max dropped and I really didnt do any squats but I did exercises on the super cat machine and I could get rim and even almost dunk a girl ball off an ally.
If this helps I ran cross-country and played basketball in high school and a lil bit of track. But I was explosive despite running long distance.
IDK why but when I play ball I can barely touch the rim, but after the first game I can get up there and grab it. Does that just have to do with my body bein warmed up after that first game?
Im 5'8 and still weigh 150lbs. When I go to the weight room I work on squats and leg press. Im getting my strength back up there. Do you think I need to implement more plyometrics in my training to reach my dunking goal.

Hey guys quick update, after an awfull start of 3 loss's to our season the past two games have been whitewashes in our favour 43-0 and 38-0, the boys starting to play well as a unit and fitness is getting pretty good, I still needa bring it up a bit, I am at the point where I cant do all that is required of me as a tight five player but now I need that little extra to keep up with the backs on line breaks!
Heres a random photo from the paper of me and a few other boys laying down the openside flanker, just after this photo I ended up taking out our guy and the guy was tackling pretty good as hit it at full pace haha.

Yep that sucks!! The first round game, all of my right ear was destroyed (scabbing down the whole ear, not just where it joins on). Mind you i'm normally a tighthead prop and was playing loosehead on that day, so that ear was pretty weak.
Also our first grade hooker had his ear partially torn off last week, looked good with all the stitching + cauliflowering haha.( ' ' ' ) MISC RUGBY CREW ( ' ' ' )
