By the way, for anyone who hasn't heard yet, the Wii comes out November 19 for $250.

ps3
same old crap recycled, no thanks
i can play that type of game on my pc
i would rather have something refreshing and really fun
slicing around with two kitana blades and soaking them with blood in Red steel (blood=red, sword=steel)
is so much more fun
anything without wii in there is an instant loss
too much to lose by not getting the wii6'4" 248lbs.

the reason wii comes out nov 30 is because its 2 days after ps3 is being launched. the ps3 i believe has a shipment of 200,000 units on its release date. the wii however will have 3-4 million. so come holiday season, the parents are gonna want to buy their kids a system and all the ps3 are sold out, get teh wii. its cheaper, looks funner. bam, nintendo wins

i agree, it looks so much funner
when I am resting comfortable on the couch, snow falling heavily outside, fireplace going, lights on, night out, warm and cozy, close to Christmas, i would be so happy to have a wii to just have some good wholesome fun with family and friends inside
when i think back to all the systems i have ever owned, sony, nintendo, sega, etc... the only ones that were endearing and that had the fondest memories were for nintendo...

the ps3 will be out in november for only $400 and the graphics and loading time and processer will be x32 better then the ps2, x15 times better then what the Nintendo wii is predicted to be, and x2 better then the xbox 360. i have alwayz loved playstations and they have the world best game on it. which is metal gear solid.

I agree the Wii is going to be badass and I don't expect the visuals to be the same as Gamecube's. I expect them to be better and more powerful than the original Xbox which is enough for me because as I've said before, I don't place as much emphasis on eye-candy as I do gameplay..
There will be online games, unfortunately the first online multiplayer game for the Wii will be Pokemon Battle Revolution. Hopefully, in the future they'll give us some badass FPS's with online play.
BTW, I am getting BOTH of them. Well, eventually anyway. Like someone said in one of these threads before, if you're a true gamer, you'll end up getting them all.BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

has anyone actually read the previews for red steel??
contrary to popular belief, u will NOT be able to replicate the unlimited free movement of a sword swinging via the remote, instead certain movements will result in a pre-designed slash, just like pressing a button on any old control pad would...therefore u can forget any ideas about being immersed in a real sword fight...
