slicing around with two kitana blades and soaking them with blood in Red steel (blood=red, sword=steel)

they were oook.... BUT... theyre the first mario/zelda games i ever played that i got so bored half way through I couldn't finish , not a good sign...

but I still wouldn't say they were horrible...

Then they weren't ok lol. Mario and Zelda on the gamecube really sucked in my opinion. I felt the critics just played it for 5 min. and decided to do a review on it. Mario was ok for the first hour or so and Zelda: Wind Waker did not even come close to Ocarina of Time. Hopefully the new Zelda is good.

the reason wii comes out nov 30 is because its 2 days after ps3 is being launched. the ps3 i believe has a shipment of 200,000 units on its release date. the wii however will have 3-4 million. so come holiday season, the parents are gonna want to buy their kids a system and all the ps3 are sold out, get teh wii. its cheaper, looks funner. bam, nintendo wins

when I am resting comfortable on the couch, snow falling heavily outside, fireplace going, lights on, night out, warm and cozy, close to Christmas, i would be so happy to have a wii to just have some good wholesome fun with family and friends inside

Call of Duty- One of those generic WWII wartime games that are nothing but hidden propoganda to get unsuspecting HS kids to want to join the military. These forms of entertainment are always coming out during times of war. is quite sickening really....Gi-Joe cartoon/Desert Storm anyone?

Nintendo already stated it in their press conference pre E3 earlier this year the reason why they are straying so far frm the norm is because they are realizing that gaming cannot contunie the way it is because if it does we will go into another borderline gaming recession (this happened back in the early 80's between the Atari and NES era, gaming was practically dead in the US )

Nintendo also stated that they are not in competition with Sony or M$ because their console is going to be so different. I have to admit i'm still a little skeptical myself, but so far there has been nothing but great reviews overall for the system and its controller.

Also keep in mind that gaming would probably never evolve to keep the market going if it wasn't for Nintendo. We see this now, with the PS3. $ony implementing motion sensing into their controller trying to "compete" with Nintendo. and how can we forget te Nintendo 64 era and the first analog stick. Soon after $ony released the dual shock controller.

the ps3 will be out in november for only $400 and the graphics and loading time and processer will be x32 better then the ps2, x15 times better then what the Nintendo wii is predicted to be, and x2 better then the xbox 360. i have alwayz loved playstations and they have the world best game on it. which is metal gear solid.

Wrong, the Wii launches with 1,000,000 and the PS3 500,000. It's gonna be hard to get either of those systems. Nov 17th is the PS3 launch date, and Nov 19th is Wii launch. Parents don't buy kids whatever, they buy what the kids ask for. Just because one is cheaper doesn't neccesarly make the kid want that system. In general kids want the most expensive thing because they don't know how to be reponsible with their money.

There will be online games, unfortunately the first online multiplayer game for the Wii will be Pokemon Battle Revolution. Hopefully, in the future they'll give us some badass FPS's with online play.

I was going to get a Wii for that Red Steel game, but now it has no online gameplay. Wii might be something i get when it's $99, or i'll get the next Nintendo System because a lot of the motion sensing controls seem to be forced. I don't think Zelda should be motion control only for Wii, but then again can buy the GC version.

PS3 had a price drop in Japan because the Japanese people were unhappy with the price. The U.S. is unhappy if not more unhappy, so I'm hoping they drop the price at their October press conference.

contrary to popular belief, u will NOT be able to replicate the unlimited free movement of a sword swinging via the remote, instead certain movements will result in a pre-designed slash, just like pressing a button on any old control pad would...therefore u can forget any ideas about being immersed in a real sword fight...
