    im going 2 gym today and i am looking for a full body workout

    WHat should i do today? i wana do my whole boddy,im looking to gain muscle, i am 140lbs and 6 feet. age 16. How many reps/sets on each machine?

    First stay away from the machines and concentrate on free weights
    Second use the search function.
    Third check out Rippetoes Starting Strength program.

    Yeah, free weights will be your best friend. The only reason why I have to reside some of my exercises with machines are because I simply have to... small community gym. The place I go to has no barbell. Makes me wanna buy my own sh*t.

    free weights will work your stabilizer muscles better. also some machines just do not feel right unless you are a certain size, so free weights will allow you to complete a full and proper range of motion.

    don't rule out all machines though, some of them can be good for isolating certain muscles. but since you are a beginner, you are going to see your best results from compound movements with free weights.
