    Stretching for martial arts.

Would anyone happen to have a site that has alot of stretching positions or whatnot that would loosen me up for quick movement of my arms, as in punching or swinging or whatnot. I'm tryin to not pull too much while I practice on my metal chair at home.

I dont have a site, but i have some comments on this.... Try sticking with dynamic stretching and avoid static (holding) stretches. I dont understand why people are still doing static stretches before sports.... They dont really prevent injuries, and just weaken your muscles before your event...

Start out by rotating all your joints slowly, and then faster.... Like arm cirlcles and stuff.

Then do some lunges in all directions

    Then pushups.

That really should be enough, then just warm up on whatever you are going to do.
