GPS- which one to buy?
Anyone who has one let me know how u like it... i really want a reliable one but not too expensive cause I break **** alot-haha.

for what application? car? Marine? or a wee lil portable one?

ahaa, not really the are i've researched much, i've looked into marine applications.
But yeh, enjoy the bump :P

You Can't go wrong with a garmin gps map 75 (i have this model and love it) it doubles for my jeeps speedometer  . Mapping is accurate, and it is an older model....so it should be cheap.

lol, my speedo died and was thinking about this as a solution. Unfortunately it would only be a bandaid solution because the car wont pass the inspection without a proper speedometer!
I'm worried that the speedo gear in the gearbox is worn, and that's a lot of work, probably more expensive than the GPS unit

Garmin ETrek is great. I have their street piliot as well. They both work great.....Awesome product.

garmin etrex "H" series work well in heavy canopy (hiking)
and they allow you to leave breadcrumbs to find your way back, these breadcrumbs cannot be eaten by birds

I would go with Garmin that's what everyone I know has and I have yet to hear something bad from them.
