Well, I think it has potential.

The taste is very, very bitter. Mixes better in hot water--made about 1 tsp of hot water and choked it down. I've also mixed it with coffee.

Slight headache in my temples. I think I remember that from taking Activate or Diesel Test, or it could just be allergies. I've taken a day or two off from it since I got it.

I've only seen my girlfriend twice since I've been taking it--hard to tell--maybe a little extra passion.

One or two very aggressive dreams.

Nothing much different in the gym.

I have a feeling that there might be something here. Over the next week I think I might try to up it to 200 mg/day.

Just received my LJ100 powder from Herbal Powers and was wondering how some of you are taking it. Mine came with a 200 mg scoop. I eyeballed about 1/2 scoop and threw it in water. Didn't mix very well.

Parachute it. Fold it up in a little bit of tissue paper and swallow with a big gulp of water. No bitter taste. Joy.

I've taken some cheap capped Tongkat Ali before and it gave me an insane boost in libido.More than Tribulus,Avena Sativa or Divanil(high % extract from Nettle).

Controlled Labs Blue Up looks like it has a decent extract in it.It's gotten some good reviews so it's probably a good purchase.

Also is Tongkat Ali something that once you stop, you go back to where you were before? I have low test...if I take this and then when I stop...will my test be back to "normal" or will it still be low?

Nothing has worked as well for me as straight up raw powder. As far as what happens to your T levels after you stop taking it, who knows. Why would you stop taking it?

sure, its effects wear off like any supplement. But your return to baseline is gradual and subtle.
I have been able to run this stuff for long cycles (3-4 months) on a 5day on 2day off scheme with no drop in effectiveness.

i done a lot of research to find out what was the best way to raise your body's own natural testosterone production, so none of that exogenous steroid crap.

tongkat works out to be the best method, that is if you got the real stuff in the good form.

it is made from the root of Eucoma Longfolia Jack, i think thats how you spell it, anyway, this is what has to be done to it:
1. root collected from plat at right age.
2. roots chipped
3. chips aged for 10 years
4. chips turned into powder
5. powder refined to make it more concentrated (extract)
6. sold as extract at 50:1, 100:1, and 200:1 concetration

the thing is, most of that bs cheap capsule crap that is overmarketed as penis pills and **** like that usually contain one or more of the following,
1. just have powder not extract
2. not aged properly
3. have very low levels in their product
4. blatantly lie about it by sayign it is extract when it isnt.

i found that the best way to be sure is to go straight to the source.
the plant is rare and protected in malaysia, however indonesia produces the real stuff by teh truckload.

i ordered the 200:1 refined powder from www.tongkatali.org and it was seriously potent ****. bitter as.

apparently there has been scientific research on it with rats or mice or wateva.
when they were given the equvalent of a 150lb man taking 6g of 200:1 refined powder per day they actually found that the animals genitals increased in size, that is penis and balls.

i started off with 1g of 200:1 and over 3 months worked up to 6g a day (same as 12g of 100:1 or 24g of 50:1 a day), not forgetting to cycle the stuff, i took it 2 weeks on 1 week off.

in the time i use it i found that my balls were about 3 times as big as usual, strated affecting my stride! lol
and it does wonders with mass gain, fat loss and your endurance, especially durring workouts, you don't tire and manage to go through a full 1.5hours gym session working out non-stop without fatigue.

i'm gona go back on it sometime soon, just went off for a while because of study and stuff.

but i worked out which would be the cheapest while maintaining the highest quality, you guys can do the math, it works out to be one of the 200:1 refined pwder packages from tongkatali.org

I worked out that with 600mgs @ 1:200 I'm taking equivilant to 12kgs of raw chipped Tonkat Ali.....it's only the boiling process and the intense evaporation that takes place that it's condensed down to 600mgs concentrate.

I started out my first week on 2 caps.It was quite funny...cause after I had taken my very first dose I had a rock hard boner that wouldn't go away + a gigantic urge to J/O...lol....let me tell you,that this was quite possibly the best I have ever had in my life.I shot 3 or 4 massive streams and my entire body was just euphoric =:-)))

For the second week I incresed to 3 caps = 1.8grams...for the third week 4 caps = 2.4grams and now I'm in my fourth week @ 5 caps = 3grams.

From what I also learnt from the PubMed site....FSH and LH are released at approx 60 minute intervals.FSH is stimulated by a low frequency trigger and LH is stimulated by a high frequency trigger.At 60 minute intervals,it is at the same pulse intervals as puberty.Normally after puberty,pulsed relase of Testosterone is @ 90 minutes.

I believe that Tongkat Ali must cause the process to cycle faster as it would have during puberty.

Also I have noticed that after 4 weeks I have more hair on my legs,arms,stomach and chest.It is denser and longer.This is probably due to the FSH being cycled faster.I have also found that my confidence is much much better,falling asleep at night is easy and staying asleep also.

Was it worth the $270 U.S for the 100caps.

I'm sold on the stuff and I intend to say on it for at least the next 6 months.

I'm not worried about the cost.I don't drink,smoke,gamble and I'm single....so I have no commitments.

I'm going to cycle it 4 weeks on 2 weeks off.So far so good.

There are no customs charges in New Zealand.The parcel was very small.The capsules came in one container with an empty one attached,only
for shipping purposes.I guess the package size was about the same size as [holding two clenched fists together].

Well...it's more expensive per dose than raw powder. It doesn't say what the strength is (50, 100, 200?) so it's hard to compare. I've tried it, and I can tell you it's the real thing. It did work for me.
