Maybe a few sessions with a personal trainer would get you on the right track.

Try posting all your food on fitday.com and you will get a good idea of what
you are eating and how many calories you are taking in.
If you are gaining muscle you may never see the scale go down
(5 3 126 is good imo)I weigh the same as when I started 1 1/2 yrs ago but
look really different. Be patient and work hard. try the fitday thing
and probably stay away from the choc bars

hi and thanks i see what your saying about the weight staying the same, i dont mind that but my measurments are the same surley they should be smaller , i have cellulite too, and also on my triceps which isnt very nice so i know i need to lose this 14lbs to see my muscles. a few years ago i did the bfl bill philips and i looked really well, i cut out all wheat and all dairy im wondering weather i should go back to that, i went down to 8st and had no cellulite atall, i was eating more than i do now and wasnt training as hard as i do now but i did cut out the wheat and dairy so maybe this is what i should do again ?????????????????????? im just so fed up and confused grrrrrrrrrrr
measuments are
thighs 22" used to be 20" on bfl
waste 31" used to be 27" when on bfl
bust 38 used to be 34"
but i also had a hysterectomy end nov this year so im wondering if this has anything to do with me not being able to shift this 14lbs ????????????????

you just answered your own question-obviously you had great success with BFL, with less work. i would get back on it.

Try not to blame the hysterectomy. I have friends say they are too "old"
and that when you get a certain age you can expect to gain weight
I say BS, you might have to work a little harder - so be it!!
I have heard it over and over on this site - it's your diet that gets rid of the
fat - so clean it up girly and BE patient - work hard

Forgot to say - I am not unsypathetic - somethimes it seems like you will
never get there. Sometimes I want to lose a couple of pounds and it seems
that even though I am doing everything right the scale never budges and
then one of my friends who only walks every day (not that there is anything
wrong with walking) goes out and eats 1/2 pizza and never gains a pound.
So I feel your pain

What is wheat free toast?
Anyway, the big problem with your diet is this:
ok well i do maybe have one choc bar, and maybe a few rice cakes in a day
It's not likely you're going to reach your goal while having a candy bar every day.
Beyond that, a few suggestions:
* Have protein at every meal, at least 20g worth
* Don't have whey protein before bed. Replace it with a slow digesting protein like cottage cheese
* Cluster your starchy carbs at breakfast, preworkout and postworkout
* Supplement with EFAs

Scale not moving
I feel your pain laracroft1970 i have been trying to get under 130 for like the past 2 months!! I know it might have something to do with my diet but I have starting eating better since I want to be down to 115 by July 31st. I checked my weight the other day and saw that I had gained a lbs or two but my BF% was like 20...I've been weight lifting everyday with 45-60 mins of cardio and abs everyday also I am getting really discouraged even with the pills seems like I can't lose any weight. I really would like to be 125 by the end of the month that's my goal but at this rate doesn't seem like that is going to happen. I'm in Iraq and the choices are not as easy as it is for everyone who is at home and can cook foods for themselves we have to hope they have some lean chicken that isn't fried or covered with gravy and sauces!! I"m 5'3 weighing in at 133 but my BF is 20-22% my clothes are looser but I want to see the scale go down can someone give me some pointers and encouragement because I need it!! laracroft1970 I wish I could be the weight I would be so happy!! I have 19 more days before I will be able to show myself off in a bikini I need to lose like 7lbs by the end of the month? Does anyone think I can do that in 2 weeks?

when i was in Iraq i had no problem eating clean, and for my first 6 months there, we didnt even have chow halls-so i was buying chickens and veggies from the local nationals.
its pretty easy-go to netgrocer.com, they ship to military addresses. order a bunch of canned salmon, tuna, and chicken. order some protein powder. order some oats
pick up some veggies at the chow hall, problem solved.

If you are craving carbs and junk all the time, etc, etc.. this is typically a sign that your meals are not balanced. First of all you have to stop concentrating on the scale. You should use a measuring tape to gauge progress. AND, I highly recommend you try to set up your diet according to basic principles for about 2 weeks, before you think about dieting. I prefer calorie cycling to carb cycling. I highly recommend you visit my website. The link is in my sig.
