    Hair removal

I was just wondering what everyone does for hair removal. The last time I tried this I got a serious case of ingrown hairs on my upper legs and buttox. It was nasty! I used nair but I'm afraid it would happen regardless of how/what I use. I don't have this problem with any other part of my body excepting those areas mentioned. Anyone have any useful information or helpful tips?

I shaved for my contest, but I'm going to try waxing for my next one.

I've been told recently to let the hair soak in warm water for atleast 5 minutes prior to shaving/nairing. It was also suggested that I use a loufa to scrub off any dead skin that might be on the desired area before hair removal. I think the fact that I used the more harsh 4 minute formula may have contributed to my poka dotted rump situation.
