BUMP. This should really be a sticky. The nutrition section would have a lot of potential, but I can't stand to spend much time in here because the same three questions just keep circulating and circulating. You guys are too nice. I gotta hand it to ya, answering these questions over and over again. The exercise or supplement forums would never have it. [/rant]

Then my wife came home with three tubs of Fat Free cottage cheese one week. Oh my god, I wanted to die. It was horrible. Worse shiate ever. But I choked it down past my gag reflex like a good little body builder wannabe.
Next week, at my prompting, she came home with the normal low fat stuff instead of that horrid fat free. And suddenly, it was beautiful. It was delicious. Matter of fact, the second time I went to scoop some into a bowl, my mouth actually wattered in anticipation. I had to double check with her to see if it was the same brand we usually buy, and it was.
Maybe it's just me... but if you hate cottage cheese like I did, spend a week forcing down the fat free kind, then try the low fat kind again. It's like night and day.

Low Fat, eat it without anything in it, maybe some ground pepper...mmmm
I hate oats on the other hand, I have to powder them and put em in a shake. (not because of the taste, but because I don't like the feel of them in my mouth or going down my throat)

Ha! I bought a tub of the fat free stuff from HEB yesterday based largely upon this thread.
I"ve yet to find the courage to give it a shot. Tomorrow, expect a range report for better or worse
