    Question Asian bodybuilders? Anyone who lifts of full Asian decent?

    Just wondering if there is anyone else like me out there? I am full japanese and at 5'4 i dont see anyone at the gym like me? Not talkin about Hapa or people that are asian and mixed with white or whatever... just straight japanese, chinese, korean(well maybe not cuz got some mongolian looking guys), viet, flip, etc. Just curious.. becuz lookin for someone like me with high metabolism, hardgainer, etc.. Uh first time in here and always could use the info from first hand experiences. Just to give you an idea im 19yrd, 5'4, 129lbs, no idea on bodyfat becuz im trying to bulk up. I can bench 225lbs once, just discovered deadlifts and squats(especially squats! i didnt start lifting legs till early this year. I played soccer and it was mostly light weights and stairs for leg workouts) becuz always thought it was gonna stunt my growth Lol so i guess 135x10 for deadlifts and 135x12 for deep squats(never tried anything more yet)... gave up on trying to grow becuz my parents are both about 5'3. Anyone like me? Id love to hear about ur supplements, workouts and/or secrets or maybe just some of the experiences that you had inorder to gain muscle.

    I'm 100% Chinese and I can probably outlift 90% the guys in my gym especially on deads and squats.

    The supps I take are: Optimum Nutrition Protein, TRAC and fish oil caps.

    who cares about supps.

    you want to grow you need to focus your training around compound lifts and eat and eat and eat. if you arent growing up your calorie intake

    Hey, I'm 100% Chinese. I don't exactly think I'm a hardgainer, more of like in the middle. I'm 17 yrs old, about 1.73m / 156lbs. and last time i checked about 18% body fat. I started lifting about a year ago and like you I play soccer. Supplements are just the usual; whey, multivitamins, flaxseed oil and creatine.

    Hey Sponjah, i think Asians and Oriental people can lift and loose just the same as us white folk hehe. Yes ive seen some people in the gym , that im not sure their exact nationality but they were Oriental. So dont worry about it , i am short and still have a good "thick" body (not bragging) but i really dont think height matters, i coud be wrong.

    i geuss why it seems strange to some people is because they never seen Asian pros or Asians in the gym. In texas we have some but not a lot.We got more Mexicans and Rednecks where I live.

    You mentioned that you've been lifting since earlier this year , good luck. Don't get discouraged because you can't grow. If you can't grow height make it up with some big pecs and arms hehe.

    I'm not trying to be an ass man....but obviously there are other asians of full decent that lift! my training partner last summer was japanese....he also was a beast and squatted 525!

    Im 100% flip ... but im more like an easy gainer .. lol .. but im cutting right now down to about 170lbs. Ive seen plenty of asians at my gym at night .. usually when i get there in the morning to do my cardio and lifts .. i dont see anyone cuz its too early .. around 530am. But when i come back to finish cardio off at night ... i usually see a lot of asians there and i would say about half of them are pretty big.

    why do you laugh for? i think its pretty good for my weight actually.. and yea i know got asian people who lift, body build, etc but i was really more focusing on the shorter, hardgainer, fast metabolism, etc people who i could relate to more and get tips from. Oh yea you misunderstood me i just started doing deadlifts and squats this year not lifting as a whole i started a couple years ago off and on not serious at all just wanted to get abs for the beach

    as for mr aries his name is john and if u look at him hes a lot taller than i am so he woulda started out weighing more than i did plus i think he got lucky with the genetics.. And yea dood u looked pretty good for being 5'9 but i figure im 5'4 so it should be relatively easier for me to get bigger than u since im 5 inches shorter.. idk i take 100% whey(1 serving), and the GNC 2200 weight gainer (1 serving) split over 3 shakes(cuz too thick) not to mention atleast 3 solid meals with a fourth usually right before i sleep. I shed fat and muscle like crazy when i do cardio.

    im 100% chinese. im opposite to most of u guys, most of u guys r skinny as, but ive got some fat around my stomach and cant seem to lose it. im 6'2 and about 210lbs.
