Thumbs up Pro Tan.

Over the years competing I have seen some very good physiques on stage only to be spoilt by the tanning preparation. Seen tan streaking, running when sweating, and when not enough tan the contestant just disapears with the bright lights.

From day one I decided to use Pro Tan as my base tan and started tanning up couple of days out from show.

Say show was on Sunday:- Friday morning good body scrub in shower to remove all dead skin + foreign bodies like deoderants etc.then apply1st coat of Pro Tan. When dry wear some old training clothes for approx 8 hrs. then just a clear water shower.
2nd coat of Pro Tan.Fri night before bed. again wear old clothes and sleep on top of bed covered with some old cloth sheets to protect the bed covers. Sat morning, just a water shower to get rid of excess tan not absorbed by the skin.
When completely dry apply 3rd coat of Pro Tan. and repeat like 1st coat of Pro Tan. After approx 8 hrs just a clear water shower.

If you follow this exactly you should have a fantastic BASE TAN for the Sunday show.

On competition day, approx 45 mins before going on stage I apply a coat of Dream Tan preparing final touches with a sponge to smooth/even out the Dream Tan.

One of benefits of the Base Tan comes through when you do such as a Lat spread, one can remove some of the Dream Tan leaving Finger/Thumb marks but having a good base tan elliminates this. Even if you sweat on stage you will not have pale looking skin showing showing through.

Don't worry about the old clothes the Pro Tan washes out.

Do yourself justice, if you've trained hard for about 12 months; dieted for approx 16 weeks and look bloody good, do not spoil the day you have trained hard for, spend them few extra USD or £s on tanning products. Follow the above and I promise, you and you will probably have best tan on stage.
