Hmmmm i was thinking getting these, it block 40gram of every meal you eat........it seems that there is no side effects on it....what do you guys think.....Im really a high carb low fat person....so if i be able to block carbs then eat low fat.....probably be a good diet.....it say extract bean blocks the carbs (starch) before it gets metabolizes.....just pass through and then digest it......SO???
The main ingredient in those is chitosan and chitosan was originally produced and tested with great results showing that it does in fact absorb the carbs and fat and puts it right into the waste of your system.
However, the development of chitosan is where everything went wrong. The people who were testing this new substance saw those dollar signs in there eyes and were absolutely blinded by greed and rushed it into the market and production before the real tests could come come up with results and they could really put the necessary work into it to at least try and make it work right.
For the most part, many people think it doesn't work and it makes sense to believe it doesn't work however I don't use it to help out with my diet in any way at all. I only use it when I have an unplanned cheat meal or something with an obscure amount of fats or carbs. My mentallity, it certainly can't hurt and if it doesn't block any of carbs or fat then whatever. The pills weren't the decision maker for that cheat meal to begin with anyway.
