    love handles and back fat

    In training I have never been able to lose the love handles or fat off of the lower back. Supprisingly I am a avid runner and lift at least three times a week. I watch my diet close and supplement with protein and thermogenics. any ideas that may help.

    I completely know what you are saying. Even at 12% bodyfat, my body is inclined to hold all/any of its fat in the obliques.
    It gets disturbing because areas I do not want to thin- face, neck, traps do yet 'the handles' remain.

    I continue exercising and eating properly as usual but am trying to increase my amount of lat work to widen my mid and upper back to take away the effect of love handles.

    Oddly, the more I start to cut, the more apparent they appear. Ever notice guys with 20%+ bodyfat don't appear to have love handles? Overall thickness hides that problem area.

    I'm the same. My love handles and lower back really frustrate me. My face can begin to look gaunt even and the lower back fat and love handles are hideous (inner thighs too). It really is frustrating and if I thought surgery would fix it, I'd do it.

    Men generally store fat In the legs stumic and lower back, I would suggest better nutrition and do isometrics. Undulating movements work great. A good resource and training schedule is: ambercrombieworkout.com

    I'm sorry to inform BB.com, but GoodForHisAge passed away in 2004 of chronic constipation due to a lack of fiber and fats in his diet. Coroner said that he was about 3% body fat, but that his lean body mass was 50% fecal matter.
