    Question A couple of quick Q's on drinking.

    How often do those of u who drink get drunk? Do u think once every two weeks is too much and too often? Do u think binge drinking once a month will have any affect at all on my gains and strength (both short and long term)?

    Also as a side note... does anyone know how many cals are in the average beer (not a light beer)

    Another quick question....is light beer better for u than a regular beer?

    Im in college and get trashed 4-5 days outta the week, just train hard and you'll be fine....drink hard alcohol and get jacked up fast instead of drinking beer all night

    thanks for the reply.....do u still make decent gains in strength and size?

    also, did u notice that u started to gain body fat or no?

    He cant be if that is true. IF he gets trashed 4-5 times a week how could he make any clean gain>?

    I drink once a week on the weekend, about 5-6 shots tops. It hasn't hampered my cutting. Not sure about bulking tho.

    Ok I just got back from a 3 month hyatus in Australia. I was drunk 3-4 nights per week on average during that time but still ate pretty well and managed to go for a 30 min run every morning.

    It didn't disslove my muscle tissue, nor did it give me any sort of gut. Am I a proffessional bodybuilder? No. Do I want to be? No. It all depends on what you plan on doing and what your goals are. That entire trip made me realise that I took myself WAY too seriously before I left and i'm now a lot more relaxed about boozing it up once in a while because I'm always physically active.
