Injured calf, anything that will help?

Today at track i hurt my calf pretty bad, it cramped for like 15 minutes straight before my coach could unbend it, and now it is really hard to walk. Besides an extra protein shake and water, will anything speed up the recovery of my injury?

Do some easy jogging barefoot on the grass, whether it is a football field or a large park. Run about a mile or two and your legs will thank you. You will feel the best stretch ever. Check out www.barefootrunning.org
