    Smile Training my girlfriend

    Lately my girlfriend has been on the same routine as me except I get her to do 3 sets of 10 instead of the 5x5 I use, we workout 5 times a week with a 4 day split (chest/tris, legs, shoulders/traps, back/bis)

    I'm not too familiar with female muscle building and estrogen, but her goals are to be like a fitness model.

    She is 18 years old 5'7 and 130 lbs and has a bit of a mesomorphic bodytype.

    She seems to gain a lot of weight on her arms and legs but she skips training chest because she says it will make her boobs look bad.

    I'm starting to think she may be over training lifting weights 5 times a week considering she has no testosterone, but I could be wrong.

    Could anybody tell me a routine that works good for them in getting proportioned and toned? Her main focus is her legs.

    Indeed, women can do low rep and high weight programs. Just because there isn't testosterone doesn't mean need to do low weight and lots of reps. I did stronglifts 5x5 while losing weight and my strength increased just fine despite not being male. The hormones have an influence on how one approaches muscle gaining, but isn't the end all be all factor. Starting strength is often recommended or Strong Curves, which focuses on lower body in particular (but doesn't neglect upper body).

    Strong curves sounds like a decent program, Do I have to buy it? If so do you know any other similar programs?
