do you have willpower?
Say you're at work or at a meeting, and there's more than enough pizza and cake for everyone.. and everyone is eating pizza and cake, and everyone is asking you if you want some, but you're trying to watch what you eat because you want to lose weight or be healthier... do you eventually give in and have even just a tiny piece of cake or pizza?.. or do you have nothing at all?

Willpower for lifting? Yes.
Willpower for dieting? Not nearly enough

Ha. I went through this exact scenario yesterday. It was my son's b-day party and the spread was fresh pizzas, a pepperoni, salami and cheese platter, crudites with thick bacon ranch dressing and various chips and pretzels. I managed just fine with my body for life shake and grilled chicken ceaser (no dressing, no cheese) and a piece of multigrain bread. Of course others were urging me to eat some "real" food ("You should eat some of this it's your son's birthday! Besides you're getting too skinny!"). I just ignore them.

I go through this scenario ALL the time, including ones that are 10 trillion times harder. My willpower is unbreakable. Seriously.

who gives a ****. seriously. bulking and cutting is so trivial, and people wank over how important it is, when really, nobody else but you cares about it. have a beer, eat some cake. your life won't end.

I have it if I need it. Since I'm not overweight, I'll partake in goodies if the occassion is right and not stress out over one meal. Just 1 meal isn't going to make you or break you, it's a long process. Most of the time, it's not overly difficult to not give in, for me anyway.

I'd have bought my own. Plus I don't like pizza or cake anyway.

Yes, I have given up alcohol, anything with pig meat, soda, french fries, taco bell, and if I'm going to eat Pizza it's only on a Sunday that I'll do so.

I got so sick when I cheated yesterday. I dropped things at work and couldn't concentrate today. To top that, the heat was unbearable. I still feel it. Don't cheat. It will hinder you.
Stay strong.

I find i have amazing will power when everything is going right IE: food flow, cash flow, free time. When these factors are steady i dont even think about junk. However, I get really thrown off when one of these is disturbed.
Like for example right now my cash is basically locked so i'm broke and waiting for college to accept me and i cant go grocery shopping (for myself alone) this week or month. I've ended up eating **** food i bum from my parents (frozen burritos etc) or food my friends order. This puts me in a pretty guilty mindset and leads to me not even bothering to train that day.
These ruts dont happen too often or for too long but they happen

I have no willpower, i'll admit it. The only time I can easily say no to junk food is when im at home ... if i'm in a different enviroment though, all hell breaks loose.

Just never have a cheat meal, then when you come into these situations it won't be the end of the world to eat a piece of cake or slice of pizza. It's what I do.
Most people like to feed others and have people enjoy their food, so why not just eat a little bit to make them happy? As long as you don't go overboard like eat half of the cake or 6 slices of pizza it won't affect you at all. Just reduce calories for the rest of the day.
