nutrition with mild exercise
I know my question might sound silly but please understand me,I am new and full of questions.I found this great site only 2 weeks ago and since then I have decided to start a better and healthier life with good food and exercise. My problem is that I am ill and for the next 1.5 month I will be permitted only to do mild exercise at home.I am eager to start a healthy routine so I was wondering what the effects of a high protein nutrition (like the ones you follow) might be without enough exercise? Can 1800 cals or more that I want in order to gain muscle cause me to gain fat?I am thin (5' 7",126lbs.) but I store fat under the waist and without effort my body can seem disproportioned. My upper body is very weak, and my lower although it can easily become toned has more fat. Please tell me I need to know,it took me so long to find out all these things about right nutrition and exercise and I don't want to lose any more time.

Diet seems to me pretty clean. May be cottage cheese in the evening will be better..
I'm not shure about your workout. How many days per week are you training? Each day??

I likes to hide....
puppy: why do you want corn flakes?? There are A LOT of better carb choices available. Also, why the fruit and the milk in the evening?? It looks like it would be too high in sugar for the evening, unless you're having it post workout. Also, the milk and the banana as a snack?? Why, unless it is post workout. In every case, however, you should be having protein--a quick digesting protein, if it is after your workout.
Hope that helps!!

2)500ml non fat milk <- drop to 1 cup, add a tbsp of PB 1 banana
3)chicken breast or fish or tuna or the round part of a steak with salad, limit dressings on salads, or 1-2 cups fibrous veggies such as broccoli, or brown rice 1 slice whole weat bread
4)10 raw almonds <- go with the almonds much healthier than luncheon meats and a cup of soy milk
5)chicken breast or fish or tuna or the round part of a steak with salad limit dressings on salads, or 1-2 cups fibrous veggies such as broccoli or brown rice
6) 1 apple or some strawberries 1-2 cups of 1.5%fat milk <- replace with lowfat cottage cheese, unless you can't stomach CC then go down to a cup of milk and add some PB here too
supplements:multivitamin, borage or EPO oil You should probably add a protein shake with a small amount of carbs either 1 hour pre-workout or within 30 minutes postworkout.
