if your talking about mel siff's book, i think its too advanced for you
from what ive read, its very advanced
Ya it is advanced, but if you can understand 1/4 of what comes out of Louie Simmons mouth, then you can understand that book...lol. If you don't understand the theories behind physics and lifting, speed-strength,etc., you may be a little lost.. but hey, you can always do a search on the net for parts you don't understand.
suprisingly, i understood everything he said in that video
That is surprising. I remember the first time I heard him talk about band training in the acceleration eccentric phase, and I just sat there with the biggest confused look on my face. I had no clue what the **** he was talking about. This is also before I knew anyone even used bands. For most people it's hard to understand a lot of what he is talking about. I still have to look up some of the things he talks about from time to time.
dont mean to be a thread stealer..., but fullback whats the best book youve read that louie recommends? i have science of sports training, and explosive power and jumping already and am looking for one that gives some workouts so i can have something to base off of besides science/physics

question on the bench for that guys vid ( looked through the other 1's and found the me bench day) they have bands that are reversed so it makes it heavier at the top and lighter at the bottom. i thought that u were supposed to put that bands so it pulls the weight down to make it heavier at the top like the squat?

There are a lot of reasons why they set it up like that... post injuries, increase the sticking points, mimic the bench shirt, have the lifter become used to the weight,etc..

but which would be better? would it be pointless to use bands for bench if i made them so it was the way they were on squats? ( make it so it lowers the weight fast)
