I really wanna know my deadlift max. I belive it is around 180pounds. But somehow Im scared because of possible injuries.
Im doing 10, 8, 6, with 100, 120, 140pounds (incressing weight each set).
What to do, how to warm up and how long?
How many chances for injury?
What about hernia?
Should I use belt?

Use good form and you most likely won't get injured. If you do, it was bound to happen. Breathe properly and you won't get a hernia (don't hold your breath). If your only pulling sets of 140, there's no point in testing your max. It's more a waste of time than anything, since in the week you use to max out you could gain 20 lbs on your dead instead. I personally never use a belt and don't think it's necessary.
If you do want to max out, follow a rep scheme like this:
95X5
135X3
155X1
180X1
If your successful, depending on how you feel, add 20 lbs and try again. I wouldn't go any heavier than that.

Good form will keep you away from injuries. I never get scared about injuries because I know I use good form. Also I know when not to lift when my body doesn't feel right.
