I just add black pepper and put it in the oven for 20 minutes. It tastes plain but I don't care. I like to eat it with vinegar.

But seriously, there aren't any vietnamese dish you like that you could add Salmon too? I add Salmon to a Filipino food called Sinigang and it's DA BOMB.

I know it has nothing to do with how to prepare it, but i once bought salmon from my local costco, and i thought it was wild salmon like i was suppose to buy cause it said atlantic salmon, i realized thats the type of salmon it was.
When you buy salmon, if you wanna get the real goods from it (omega 3 fats) make sure its wild alaskan salmon, otherwise it will probably be farmed which also raises some of the mineral levels which arent always good.
But back to the subject, i like to put the salmon steak on some foil, put some extra virgin olive oil, some rosemart blend seasonings by tones (i use this on everything now, got a big bottle and the only thing it has besides super good flavor is 3%of the dv your suppose to get from sodium, worth it) Load it up with zuccini (italian squash) and pepper it. PERFECTO!!!
