so i decedided to take a week off to recover...get my endurance up for cardio season.
first day back was back
i did my sets of pullups
went to the deadlifts
i did my warmup set
i did my second warmup set
attempted to do my weight i did last week, i did it with no sweat (was sweating )
i stuck on 5 lbs each side ( goal is 5-10 lbs per week )
i did this set with no problem, failed at my 9 rep ( i do 10 reps) (i gained strength within that rest period )
well after this, i finished off my back workout (rows, lat pulldowns, one arm rows each 3x10)
i attempted to finish off my back day with biceps (i do back/biceps)
this is where the sharp pain comes.
i load up the barbell with weights necessary for my barbell curls (6x6)
the bar is on the ground, i pick it up as a deadlift. as i do this my back his this SHARP pain within it. its kinda over the place but concentrated within the middle of the back (spine).
any help?

I liek to have a day at the end of my split where I do just deadlifts superseted with shrugz.
The deadlift takes alot out of the back and the cns as a whole. I personally think its not b4est to have other excercises the day you do deadlift. The only reason I do shrugz with them is my traps genetically can handle quite abit and do not need a heavy load to grow.
