Can you mess up your metabolism?

I have a fast metabolism right now but if I'm thinking about changing my diet, will this affect (slow down) my metabolism? I don't want it to slow down so I can keep eating a lot but healthier.

Just moderately cut your calories for no more than 12 weeks unless you're very obese, then you can break the 12 week rule if you want.
