    Oatmeal Sweetener?

    How can I make my oatmeals taste better? I'm ate Quaker Oats last night w/ water and they weren't that good. And where could I find Splenda sweetener? I looked for Splenda @ WalMart but I couldn't find it.

    Most grocery stores sell Splenda.

    To make it taste better, try adding some walden farms maple syrup or chocolate syrup, ground cinnamon, fruit, etc.

    I use Splenda in my oatmeal with a little cinnamon sprinkled on top. The local Dierbergs up the street from my house actually carries the big bag (like regular sugar) of splenda. Before that I was using the little packets.

    Add in a scoop of your favorite protien powder. Can really bring some taste to it. Somtimes I only add half a scoop. Chocolate usually works well for me, plus right in the monring when most people have oatmeal your body is in a bit of a catabolic state in where some whey protien can give you some protien quickly.

    I find that if i make my oats a little watery instead of paste it stops me from gaging. Then i just add a nice layer of milk. Milk+non-paste oats = not gag & it usually tastes decent, for me anyway.

    It sounds weird.. but I add splenda.. which is normal.

    But I also spray some I can't believe it's not butter on it. Makes it taste alot better to me with an insignificant amount of calories.

    I hate the way they taste too...I'm getting sick of my current setup since I've been eating it every morning for the past month or two..

    1 Cup Instant Quaker Oats
    2 Packets Splenda
    2 Tblspoons cinnamin
    healthy portion of dried blueberries (makes a WORLD of difference without them)...i get them from wal-mart..they are in the cake/pie making section.

    My personal favorite way to make them is by first of all always using milk. i think it gives a much better flavor and adds some protein too.

    I also put some cinnamin, chopped apple, and a bunch of splenda to make it taste like a cheat meal when its definately not

    I agree...i cannot stomach oats qith water, however using milk, and making it watery makes all the difference. I usually just chop[ some strawberries into it and drink it like that. Then at night on ym second oatmeal bowl i pur some MIlo in it...damn thing thastes goooooooood

    I throw my oats in my postworkout shake and drink them down. They soften up and absorb some of the flavor of the shake. I like steel cut oats... guess I'm weird.

    you could try 'em savoury wiht a little salt onion and butter replacer. Or with marmite/bovril. nuts are good as well for healthy fats, or chuck in some cc/ a white, not too bad actually

    I've heard the sugar free davinci syrups are good in oatmeal, but since im currently cutting on keto i've yet to try them. I plan on picking some up in a couple weeks though since I'll be starting a clean bulk.
