What size exercise ball and how many lbs. medicine ball do I need?

I'm considering buying an excercise ball and a medicine ball to develop my abs. I was wondering what size ball and what weight medicine ball I need. I'm 5'11, 205 lbs. if that helps. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

Medicine balls are Ok, and I sometimes use one to warm up before workouts (get at least a 10 pounder), but to really fry your abs and core, search for an exercise device called a "Power Wheel". You can strap it to your feet, or use it like a conventional "Ab wheel". If you use it regularly, your abs will soon be as hard as concrete. As for the "stability ball" (you called it an exercise ball), I can't help you there.

Exercise (swiss) ball - get one thats designed to lift on. A little more money but the last one you'll ever buy. I got mine from www.elitefts.com

Medicine ball - if you're not sure, just make one. Buy a cheap, heavy duty plastic ball (basket balls work great), cut a small hole in it, fill it up w/sand, then epoxy the hole shut. Cheap and they work great.
