    Conflicting protein intake recommendations

    Hi,

    I'm very confused on the protein intake recommendations when bulking : some say 1 g/lb, other say 1.5, I've also read one could take up to 2 g/lb (That's a lot, and for financial reasons I'm not sure I would be able to do it!). I'm lost.

    Stats / macros : I'm 5'4, 123 lbs, and my macro split is 340 C - 140 P - 60 F. What do you think about it please?

    1g/lb should be more than enough when it comes to the average jr. bodybuilder. If you're in the gym 3+ hrs most days, it is a good idea to bump up the protein along with your carb intake. Most people try and over think it.

    most research says go for 0.8g/lb. anything over that is insurance/for satisfaction and feeling full
