Hi...i took my hand at trying a lower carb d:iet a few months ago, while bumping up my fat intake...wasnt a keto diet...was just a low carb, moderate fat and high protein diet....I made HUGE gains off of this!!! I gained approximately 13 lbs in 2.5 months of lean body mass....if i could ask a few questions...on a keto, no fat pre or post workout or yes? And why is the insulin spike not needed as many keto'rs say?? Im gonna lay down the diet i was on which worked so well for me...any feedback on this would be great.
Meal 1: 3 whole eggs, 3 whites....1 cup oats
Meal 2: 6 oz. chicken, 35 almonds
Meal 3: 6 oz tuna salad with olive oil and vinegar
Meal 4: Whey protein with 2-3 tbsp. PB
Meal 5: 8 oz. sirloin, 2 cups broccoli
Meal 6: PWO 2 scoops whey, 32 oz. gatorade
Bedtime: Cottage Cheese and PB
