    What does a 5'8" 170 lbs man look like?

    I've been lifting for 6 years. I'm trying to grow my muscles and it seems like a never ending process for me. Does anyone here have a picture of a 5'8" 170 lbs man or very close to those stats. I want to know if it would be worth it to reach for 170 lbs or just reach 160 lbs.

    I'd say 80% of the time people have trouble getting jacked it's because of their diet, not their workout routine.

    The other 20% of the time it's their workout, and it's because they are afraid to do squats and deadlifts.


    170@5'8" can take on a lot of different shapes and sizes, but your arms would probably be somewhere around 15"-15.5" at those proportions. Depends on how much you hit your arms and how ripped you are.

    I'd say for 16" arms you'd need to be more in the 175-180Lb range. But it has to do a lot with genetics too. My dad for example, many, many, moons ago was about 180 with about 18" arms at 5'7".

    dont worry so much about what youll look like at a certain spot as much as what you look like now and what you need to eat/sleep/work out to progress.

    and if you wanna gain weight fast, you should probably be doing squats and deadlifts, or at the very least cleans and leg presses. if you act like a pussy with lifts itll show on you

    You have to work on your diet man. If you have been lifting for 6 years and havent seen a whole lot of gains its not your workout (probably not) but your diet. Go to the nutrition section and get on a good diet

    Everyone is giving their arm sizes here. Is that flexed or relaxed? I'm 5'10", 186, only been lifting seriously for about a 1.5 yrs, and my arms are (right now)

    15.5 = unflexed
    17 = flexed
