Yeah we will see how he does to appease the Jewish American Community. There has been some instances of Anti-Semetism towards Jews done by blacks and there has been some rocky history between the groups so we will see what happens.

I completely support double dueces's idea that it is everyone's own responsability to better themselves. I believe that the government's role is to make sure people are FREE to PURSUE happiness. i don't think its the govoernment's responsability to make sure everyone IS happy.

really? where did you see that in the constitution? That would be great if we lived in a Utopic society like karl marx detailed in communist manifesto. Unfortunately, we have seen communist governments in practice and, not only are they corrupt, but they are inefficient and everyone winds up poor. Our constitution says the government's job is secure our liberty.

you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, the public school system doesn't work very well for the lower class. its time to try something else.

You are approaching socialism very quickly with your ideas.

The Governments role is to defend your liberties not to ensure you are as succesful or happy as the next person.

Not every situation is fair in life, but the people that make the best of the hand they are dealt are the ones who succeed.

As far as the inner city schools go, it is called vouchers. If parents don't want their kids going there then they can send them to private school. I would hope that if kids are in an enviroment like that, it would cause them to work harder to become successful and give back to there community not ask the Government to give to there community.

Look up the Bill of Rights, if gives you your rights as a human being and is what our country was founded on.

You wanted to know how to fix a problem and I gave you a solution, you want to have the government fix it and that is not the governments job.

In my opinion, equal footing means that you have the same access to all resources and services. Our system is based on earning, and it must be worked for. So I disagree. I explained my belief that our government's function is to maintain liberty. That is, in essence, all I said. And I only repped Double Dueces because I liked his philosophy. I have the liberty to do that, thank god for america. It had nothing to do with ganging up on you.

This is why I support Obama, not because of his views but because he is so awesome at hiding who he really is:

1) Secret caliph who is so secretive about his plans that he has joined a Christian church for 20 years, far before he had any kind of political position. No doubt this church is merely a front for al-Qaeda! I bet B. Hussein Obama is a cousin of Saddam and has attended some of his more lavish Iraqi parties!

2) You cannot appreciate Obama's views at all. If you're white, you support Obama only because of your white guilt. If you're black, you support Obama only because he shares the same skin color as you. Obama has no actual viewpoint, he will win by guilt and race association alone.

3) Obama has no clue about the Constitution, despite his Ivy League Law School degree. Yet a bunch of 16-18 year old Religion/Politics members knows the Constitution better than him. Only teenage members on the internet can decipher what the founding fathers have written about the Constitution.

All this thread does is support my view that 90% of the R/P regulars are bat**** nutters who are too conceited, arrogant, and tunnelvisioned to not realize how stupid they really are.

Carry on, as logic has no place on this board. Continue with your reasoning that all white Obama supporters are choosing him because of white guilt. Just leave common sense behind first as it has almost no place on this thread, let alone this board.
