    Olive Oil Potato Chips

Sometimes I crave potato chips but I have avoided them entirely for over seven months now. I just noticed ones made with just potatoes, olive oil and sea salt at the supermarket and wondered how these would be for an occasional cheat snack? If not, what about those rice chips instead? Any recommendations?

I like Terra sweet potato chips. They are tasty but not greasy. I have two "servings" or 1/3rd of the bag which fits in a small bowl at a sitting, The cals come out to 320 cals, without too much saturated fat. Not too bad for an occasional minor cheat snack.

Olive oil chips will do for a cheat snack, just as long as you're not eating them all the time!

    some healthier alternatives to chips:
pita chips - low in fat, but still pretty high in carbs. not great if you're cutting.
soy crisps - low in fat, have about 7 grams of protein, 14 grams of carbs, low in sugar. very tasty, but easy to over eat!
aak maak whole wheat crackers - plain tasting, but in a good way. not for everybody, but anybody who likes them, loves them!
baked lays - still pretty high in carbs, but at least they're baked!

I agree with this too. I buy the small bags of Glenny's apple cinammon soy crisps to limit portion size. They are very yummy, only 140 calories, with 9 g of protein!
