Did something to my Pec (Clavicular Head)
Last Friday doing dumbell flys, the muscle right next to my arm pit and above my nipple started hurting. I thought it might just be sore and that maybe I stretched it too much.
Today, I was doing some flat bench and I couldn't even get through my second work set because the muscle was hurting. I was able to do some incline dumbell presses.
Now this muscle is quite swollen and painful. It is also very hard. My wife said I look like I had a bad implant. I don't believe I tore it because I still have a full range of motion, although it hurts. I took an IBProfin and have iced it.
Any thoughts on this regarding how serious this might be? Is ice and rest the answer for a couple of weeks?
I've been training pretty hard for the last 10 weeks, I'm in the abs contest going on in another thread. I'm also going to Hawaii in 5 weeks and I was going to workout hard until I leave. However, I'm pretty wore out, my shoulders hurt, my wrist is sore, etc. Think I should just do cardio, abs, and legs for a couple of weeks?
