Updated Senior Fitness & Bodybuilding Site
I just re-designed my senior fitness & bodybuilding site and changed hosting services for faster loading. I invite all to take a peak at:
http://netconex.com/kenchi
I am still fine-tuning so would appreciate any and all comments - along with filling out the "feedback" form. Many thanks.

Nice site, why are you asking for donations though? The fitness calculators seem to be right on the money, cool.

I gave my parents (both ~70) an adjustable bench and a set of hex DBs (3,5,8,10,12,15,20,25,30,35) earlier this year and set both of them up on a basic program, which I have added to as their condition improved. The whole lot cost about $250 ($115 DBs $135 bench), which is a pittance compared to what they spent on me for 20 years! They had been briskly walking about 15 min every morning (which is good), but they needed iron!
They had been looking into some overpriced "senior fitness" classes that were basically junk, so I steered them onto the right path. I told them that it was as much for me as it was for them, as I will inevitably have to see them both die, but don't want to do so anytime soon.

Charger--
Thanks for visiting - and for the comments. Question though: not sure what you mean by "asking for donations". I want my site to be completely non-commercial and have never asked for donations.

In the discussion board section near the top of the page next to the mail box is says
Make a Contribution :: Direct Payment -or- Accept Offer | View Contributors | (?)
We currently have $0.00 in our chest.
What is this? I like the site and I just figured this to mean you could make a donation to ofset cost. Just never seen it before.

Ah, I see what you mean. That's an ezboard thing. They put ads on their message boards (to cover the cost of running the board servers, etc), unless the site admin pays ezboard.com ( http://www.ezboard.com/ezcommunity/index.html) to keep them off.

To all who responded--
Many thanks for your responses and comments. Yes, the "donation thing" is part of ezBoard, but not necessarily a plea for funds. I *am* a "gold" owner, but pay for the board solely by myself. I want both my Site and my Board to be completely non-commercial. I have nothing to sell; just want to help motivate other seniors in striving for fitness & nutrition as a way of life. They certrainly have helped me and - a fringe benefit - I have learned that there are many other seniors out there who feel the same way.
And Max, thanks for your kind words. Yes, the new site is getting many, many more hits than the old one and is apparently loading much faster for viewers. Even tho the upgrade hosting service is a bit more expensive, I am more than pleased.

Well you sold me on your site even if your not selling anything, LOL I'll be stopping by with a visit now and then. I like the fact you want to help others. Thanks for the reply
